Stak was born from my experience collaborating with my contractor to build my house. I saw the challenges of creating client bills and how managing subcontractor invoices, calculating markups and taxes, and handling change orders all got harder while juggling multiple projects.
As a client, I valued the clarity of separated budgeted and change order costs on reports and invoices, but working with my contractor showed me how time-consuming that was to achieve with tools like Quickbooks Desktop. So, I created Stak to help contractors effortlessly produce these clear financial documents, streamline their workflow, and improve client communication.
